View your past check-in responses and reports
You need earlier standup answers or compiled team reports, not only today’s channel post.
Your own responses (web)
- Open Check-ins in the Dailybot web app.
- Select the check-in you use (for example your daily standup).
- Open the Activity, Responses, or History view for that check-in (wording may vary slightly by version).
- Pick a date or scroll the timeline to read what you submitted.
- To change an answer you already sent, follow Edit or delete a check-in response (only while your org allows edits).
Browse by timeframe
Most “where did my reports go?” questions are really about timeframe filters. Use the date picker at the top of the Activity or History view to jump to any window:
| If you ask… | Use this filter |
|---|---|
| “What did I write yesterday?” | Yesterday (or single-date picker) |
| “Show me last week” | Range: Mon–Sun of last week |
| “All my reports from last month” | Range: full previous month |
| “Find a specific date” | Single-date picker on that date |
| “Everything I ever wrote” | Scroll the timeline / use date range starting at your join date |
If you reach the top/bottom of the list and stop seeing entries, that is the limit of your dashboard history retention (depends on your plan; see What data Dailybot stores).
Compiled reports for the team
- Web: In the same check-in, open historical compiled reports if your role includes access (admins and managers usually see full team history; members see what their permissions allow).
- Chat channel: Past summaries remain in the report destination channel unless channel retention or deletion removed them. Search the channel by date or check-in name.
- Email digest: If your org enabled digests, past emails may include summaries (see profile and notification settings under Account settings).
Export or bulk history
For compliance or analytics exports, org admins use privacy and data tools described in What data Dailybot stores. That is separate from day-to-day “what did I write last Tuesday?”
If history looks empty
- Confirm you are in the correct check-in (organizations often run several).
- Confirm you responded on that date (missed days show no personal row).
- If the channel never received posts, see Reports not posting or Discord empty messages.
